What the press say

WARPs were featured several times in the ENISA/NICC workshop on Information Sharing held in Amsterdam in March 2010. Most notable was a presentation on ‘WARPs – a members view’ by Bruce Thomson from Hillingdon, a founder member of the WARP for London Boroughs in 2003, now called Information Security for London (ISfl). Details of this event can be found at the ENISA website where you can download a copy of the presentations.

In this podcast from Security Vibes, John Harrison, an acknowledged expert in the field of trusted sharing, summarises his 2009 ENISA Summer School talk. The talk focusses on how organisations can use the WARP model to create their own Warnings, Advice and Reporting teams without the associated overhead of a full CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team).

Each month PC Pro, the UK’s biggest IT magazine, publishes an in-depth column on internet security by Davey Winder. In this article, he discusses the role of WARPS and how it can be made to work in practice.
