Investigate Alternatives
If you have been unable to find a WARP to join which directly addresses your needs (such as location and sector) then the following alternatives may be worth considering.
- Approach an existing WARP and ask if you can have ‘guest status’. This will provide some of the benefits of WARP membership until a more appropriate WARP is established. In some cases this may be the catalyst for the WARP operator to create a new WARP
- Approach a central organisation who already engages with your organisation and others in your region and sector and introduce them to the WARP concept. If you have colleagues who you feel will also benefit from being a WARP member you could ask them to also lobby this central organisation to create a WARP.
- Consider setting up a WARP yourself. This does not have to be onerous or costly with many examples described within this WARP site. A good place to start is Set up a WARP which has been designed to assist people who want to run a WARP.
