MODWARP
MOD has implemented a mandatory Alert, Warning and Response (AWR) process to ensure that all information security events and weaknesses associated with Defence Communication and Information Systems are communicated in a manner allowing timely action to be taken.
MODCERT (MOD WARP) is the controlling authority for the MOD AWR process. The responsibility for the timely upward reporting of all Information Assurance/Computer Network Defence matters rests at the lower level, on existing security reporting organisations that feed the information via Sub WARPs upward to MODCERT.
