Anite WARP for Swift users (ANSWARP)

ANSWARP will provide a service to UK Local Authorities that use Anite Public Sector specialist software products.

ANSWARP is the first WARP provided and hosted by Anite Public Sector. The vision behind the establishment of ANSWARP is:

• firstly to further the spread of sound information governance in UK public bodies;
• secondly to improve the quality of Anite products that are supplied to UK public bodies;
• thirdly to show that Anite is an intelligent and professional partner to UK public bodies that deal with sensitive personal as well as national security matters.

In the first year, the focus will be on building the trusted community and providing advisories so that WARP members can improve the security, efficiency and effectiveness of the Anite applications they use. Anite will also provide web pages from the link http://www.answarp.anite.com/ that host a bulletin board and discussion for a as required by the community. ANSWARP will provide on call advice to members of the community. The most challenging activity will be the development of the trusting community so that all members are prepared to share information by reporting issues.

This prototype work will concentrate on SWIFT (Social Care) users but it is hoped that the WARP coverage will spread to other groups of users once any initial settling down problems have been resolved. Anite will manage this evolvement by instituting separate WARPS for different products:

• Using ‘AN’ as the Anite common indicator and using a third letter to denote the product for the WARP, hence ANSWARP for Swift, ANPWARP for Pericles etc;
• We calculate that there will be a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 members of our communities.

We plan to include Oracle notifications in our WARPs because it is the supporting platform for our products.
